Here's a fun one for the Anything Lavinia challenge. My inspiration was a card made by our team member, Julie Odil, where's there's just a lot of layers to make a shaped card. I used the Pastel Fantasy paper collection - one of my faves! Shaped cards are one of my faves and basically very easy.

For My Sister
Today's cards feature lovely photos taken by my sister. She lives on an island, and I've framed the photos with the shape of the island. The fronts are embossed and popped. I added a variety of sentiments in the package that she can pop on for various occasions - or go plain, as well.

Anything Lavinia Card
I guess I'm still in a fantasy frame of mind. I used an image from Baubles 5 and added Fairy Fir Trees and Dragonfly Keeper. Fun! The background of the Bauble is Spring Butterflies, and I used Just Autumn for the background. I kinda love how this turned out. I have found that fantasy cards are so fun to make. For more fantasy inspiration, visit Anything Lavinia. Hope you join us this week.

Creative Confetti - Gift Bag Project
Happy Tuesday! Time for another challenge at Power Poppy - this time Not a Card. Check out the fabulous sample they shared. Julie chose to make a Mask Reminder sign for her family - Mask Up, Buttercup! I couldn't help to make a gift bag for some masks I personalized for my sister and brother-in-law. I love a pretty gift bag! As I was browsing through my files this morning, the Sweet Simple Things caught my eye - just had to use it! For my background, I chose a wood texture from Design Bundles.
I used a pattern from Christmas Gift Bags (SVG Cuts) for the bag. I added some blue trim from my stash for a little extra pop. I wasn't quite sure whether I wanted to distress the wood. No distress doesn't do it for me - but I generally am not happy with my distressed work, either....so I decided to take the safe route and not to distress. I added some beads to the center for dimension.August 24, 2020
Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper
Hello, Friends. I've chosen a fabulous layered doily for this card. I added a colored bouquet, and a quick sentiment. Easy peasy, huh?

For the current Anything Lavinia challenge, I chose Baubles from Sets 1 and 5. I used a pattern from Spring Letters for the Bauble backgrounds. Added some dotted paper from my stash and called it a day. Come on over to Anything Lavinia to join in the challenge. Loads of inspiration.

eClips Users Creative Fabrica Challenge
This is for the current challenge at the eClips Users Group - they want to see projects using something from Creative Fabrica. While browsing the products at Simply Crafty, I thought I'd try the Glitter Glue Holder. I made the holder out of Ink Flower from Creative Fabrica.
I just love this paper. It is a bit busy for this project, though.August 21, 2020
Snippy Scrappers Layout with We Are 3
For this layout, I chose to use Dragonflies in Flight. I went with a layout inspired by a local group, Snippy Scrappers. I added a sentiment from the Positive Thoughts Set.

We Are 3 Dragonflies in Flight
For this layout I've chosen the adorable Dragonflies in Flight. The layout is inspired by a local group, Snippy Scrappers. Different papers from the collection were cut in 1" strips and put together much like a jigsaw puzzle. The flower is from Miss Kate Cuttables - the sentiment from my stash.

Susan's Scrap Club Sketch
This month at Susan's Scrap Club, the sketches both have honeycombs. I couldn't help to instead fussy cut the train design from the Trains collection - in different sizes. Did a bait of manipulating with the images to get them the way I liked.
The precious digi on the bottom right comes from the Victorian Holidays set - some of the photo matting comes from the Best of Autumn collection. Instead of journaling, I added a sentiment from the Itty Bitty -Sweet set.August 18, 2020
Creative Confetti Inside Out
A neighbor family has moved - the teenager is a budding artist and created the sentiment on my card. I am gifting her some Copics - can't wait for her to share her first Copic work with me! She is an amazing young woman.
It is Tuesday - so this is also inspired by the Creative Confetti challenge, of course - Inside Out. The framed image is falling out of the frame. I used a Beautiful Floral Bouquet from Charlene Tarbox. The flowers are colored digitally. I added some additional popped-up flowers to add some dimension - though difficult to see in this photo.
Featured Stamper 706
It's another fun challenge at the Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper. For this week's case, I used digital images from In Here Memories from Digi Crea.
The sentiment was computer generated. There are always stunning creations from the Featured Stampers, so check them out some time.August 17, 2020
Be in the Pink - Be Well
Happy Monday, Everyone! Nearly a year ago I joined the pre-diabetic program at the Extension Office. While I'm not pre-diabetic, I qualified just because I am old! My personal goal was to keep my blood pressure down (something you have worry about when you get old) and get back into my fat clothes. Yes, that sounds funny - but I was even outgrowing my fat clothes!!!! The goal of the class was to exercise more....which was great before the pandemic because i had my gym and most importantly - my water aerobics. So while I hit my first weight goal of losing 12 lbs. - which happened quickly! Then my next weight goal was another 12 lbs. Not so easy!!!!!! First, I think it was our third class when it hit me that the more successful I was....the harder I had to work at it! That just ain't happening! I didn't retire to spend my days exercising and counting calories. I've been pretty devoted to counting the calories - but haven't exercised in weeks (shhhh! Don't tell my leader - i keep lying to her to get her off my back!) Now I think God was just having fun with me....making me sweat 'til the end of the programs comes near....and I hit my second target and hit 26 lbs. lost. As the program comes to the end, I made a little something for our leader's office.

We Are 3's Muddy Paws
What a ball I had with Muddy Paws. The blue patterned paper is cut in the drape fold. For the drape fold, I printed two different patterns back to back.
Pop over to the Etsy shop where Bonnie has added some fabulous new designs.August 15, 2020
Paper Ala Mode Challenge
We're starting this weekend with our Nautical Challenge at Paper Ala Mode, and we are using the fabulous Nautical Love, Playtime Waddles, and Happiness for our inspiration...all from our sponsor, We Are 3.
I went with a single-layer card, manipulating everything using Word. If your'e interested in these wonderful images, visit We Are 3's Etsy shop...Nautical Love, Playtime Waddles, Happiness. Wait until you see what the other team members made! Loads of inspiration and lots of fun going on at Paper Ala Mode. Be sure to share your Nautical ideas!August 14, 2020
Muddy Paws from We Are 3
Muddy Paws lends itself well to clean and simple card layouts. To be honest, I'm especially fond of clean and simple cards. The papers, image, and front sentiment are all from our own We Are 3. I added some accent from the Peonies Ballet. For the inside sentiment, I started rummaging through my stash - I found a perfect sentiment that I had already printed on Peonies Ballet.

Muddy Paws at We Are 3
I used We Are 3's fab Muddy Paws to create today's card. The background is from the Muddy Paws paper collection - enlarged considerably. Then I used the burlap pattern from the collection to digitally color the doily behind the heart - which I layered and popped for dimension. The dog and heart is from the Muddy Paws printables.

Creative Confetti Keep It Simple
Okay, tell me this mistletoe stamp is not gorgeous! This beautiful image, Stand Here, is one of my favorite digital stamps. I'm using it this week for the new Creative Confetti Challenge. The challenge is Keep it Simple, so I took a simple image and matted it. The sentiment is from my stash.
We Are 3's Shirley's Roses
I used three of the fabulous patterns from the Shirley's Roses collection for this card. I used a sentiment from the Sending You set. I fussy cut a couple of the roses enlarged for a little accent on the left.

Featured Stamper Challenge and Fairy Textures
This week's Featured Stamper challenge was a snap - and since I'm limited in my collection of fairy digis, I made what I had work. I went with Dragonfly Keeper, Fairy Fir Tree, and a cropped version of Wild Mushrooms - all from Lavinia Stamps - deciding to use a piece of Fairy Textures for the background. All in all, pretty clean and simple - but I'm finding the fairy-themed cards don't need much fuss. Be sure to stop by the Featured Stamper challenge and see the fab creations by the rest of the participants.

Eclips Users Back-to-School Challenge
The current challenge at the eClips Users Group is to create a Back-to-School project. Well, I must say - creating for this school year is a bit different. I did stick to the traditional blackboard, though - truthfully, that's easier to depict than online learning! The easel card is the Scalloped Circle Easel Card from Crafts U Print, resized in eCal, cut from kraft paper. The image is Love SVG. The sentiment is We Are 3.
