Rustic Winter Challenge

Hello, Everybody!  Welcome to my blog - and my entry for Verve Stamps Inspiration Challenge - Rustic Winter.

I love this inspiration - and the concept of rustic winter.  The colors in the inspiration picture are special - and the idea of deer feeding in the woods is a wonderful way to celebrate winter - not to mention Christmas!

What stood out to me in the inspiration picture were the colors - white, brown, and aqua - and the deer and snowflakes.  While my deer are not so "rustic," I love the mixture of craft paper and mixture of colors - including the gold and silver.

They're Getting Married!

Tonight's project celebrates my cousin on her upcoming wedding with a Two-Bells card.  I made another "fun" card - but decided against it for one that showcases a bit more elegance and beauty in her colors.  (Actual card is more "pastel" than this picture depicts.)

For this lovely card, I used Blanc Boutique cardstock (Paper Studio) and Gradients (Craft Smith) - I, unfortunately, don't remember where the bells file came from as I downloaded it four years ago - so guess SVG Cuts since they were about the only site I used back then.  If anyone knows for sure where I got this, I'd appreciate hearing from you.

This card is being entered in the Can You Case It Challenge #79 - Designer's Choice.

Moo-velous Love Card

Hi, All!

I have another card using a sketch challenge - Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #272.  Today I made a fun, loving card with a Boy Cow from Kadoodle Bug...adding a couple extra hearts from Kadoodle Bug's Jar of Hearts.

Be sure to check out Sweet Sunday Sketch for lots of yummy cards!  They are amazing with themes from adventure to butterflies.

Beautiful Christmas

Hi Everyone,

Merry Christmas to all my fellow crafters who will begin their Christmas projects soon!  Do you celebrate Christmas in July or do you wait until the last minute to craft?  I am planning to do a little here and there this year.  Christmas cards are always more fun to create when there isn't any pressure to do so for 30 days in a row!  Whether you're spending some time this summer or putting your Christmas creations off, make sure to capture all those projects with your camera!  Today's post is just poppin' in with a simple white-on-white card - enjoy!
