It's the January Challange at the Eclips Users Group sponsored by Dreaming Tree, Creative Fabrica, and Simply Crafty. No surprise that I FINALLY created a layered mandala from Special Heart Studio. I printed my own shades of red using the color correction function on Word - yes, surprised that I did not use an entire cartridge of red ink! LOL!

This Week at Featured Stamper
I waivered on the Featured Stamper challenge this week, but finally managed to complete this one-layer card. I'm proud that I hung in there, as the Featured Stamper is one of my favorite challenges. This week's Featured Stamper likes a simple look....and I find those hard, actually - I always want to add more! Once I finally decided on paper and overlay, it was so much fun! And it truly is an easy card!

Progressive Freebie - Fall Pears
The Progressive Freebie Challenge at The Outlawz is using the Fall Pears. At first, I was a bit intimidated by the image - out of my comfort zone. I spent a long time trying to decide what colors to use on the vase - I eventually decided to digitally paper piece with a paper from the Sky Scenes collection...just adding some shadowing. I love how it turned out! The background is also from Sky Scenes.

Sky Scenes at We Are 3
It's 2021! Time to craft something other than Christmas cards! LOL! Today, I'm already thinking of the hot sun in July and celebrating the 4th. I've chosen some fun free patriotic images I've collected over the years and created a single-layer card using Sky Scenes as the background. Easy peasy! Be sure to visit the We Are 3 Facebook page to check out what other designers are making with Sky Scenes.

Sky Scenes Christmas
Today I went with a Christmas card (getting ready for next year already!) using Sky Scenes. Added a skating penguin and some poinsettias from my stash. I added a lacey border around the "moon," and a simple border - Voila! Actually pretty quick and easy design.

Featured Stamper - December 27
Here's my CASE for this week's Featured Stamper. The marbled paper is handmade by a friend of my sister's. I do not know who created the flower. The sentiment is using ndividual alphabet letters from the ABC file from Hedgehog Studios. Sweet!

Ducking Jeeps for Christmas
Is everyone set for Christmas? Have any Jeep owners on your gift list? Well, here's an idea for you. In case you haven't heard, there is this phenomenon among Jeep owners - along with their traditional wave - they are now "ducking" other Jeep owners. For my Ubly friends, it's much like "Flamingoing!" My sister - a Jeep owner - is celebrating her birthday today. So one of my birthday gifts for her is a set of ducking tags. The tradition generally includes actual rubber ducks - but I've read articles about people finding carrying those to be inconvenient - she can always add those if she wishes. These, however, she'll be able to throw in her purse.
I used Real Jeeps have Square Headlights from Creative Fabrica for the shape. Then Baby Duck Cartoon - also from Creative Fabrica. And, finally, the message on the back reads, "YOU'VE BEEN DUCKED BY A FELLOW JEEPER! With all the crazy in the world, take a moment to smile! Take a photo and post on Facebook #DuckDuckJeep" I had a ball designing this tag. I hope this inspires other Jeep owners. Of course, I'm already thinking about Easter Eggs I can include....like the shape of Neebish Island on the fender.
Hers actually won't have the holly on the front fender - I added that for a Christmas tag challenge with the Eclips Users Group earlier this month.

Monday Greetings Christmas Clean Challenge
This week at the Monday Greetings Challenge, the theme is Christmas Clean. Such an easy challenge because clean generally means no fuss. I chose my new poinsettia die for a nice clean look - then somewhere along the way I forgot about the clean look and added some glittered poinsettias and loads of pretty beads. Add a sentiment - and I was finished. It really does make me smile. Come join the Christmas Clean challenge.

We Are 3 Something Blue
It's Christmas Eve, and that means I should have a Christmas card to share - but oh, no! Today I went with a nod to Harry Potter. The card is made with papers from the beautiful Something Blue collection by We Are 3.
The Harry Potter Owl is from 2 Cute Ink. I added some sequins.

Holiday Letters Snowflake
For this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast, I decided to CASE a snowflake. It's made with paper from the Holiday Letters collection. It's a wonderfully easy snowflake to make - I wanted a "large" snowflake, so chose to use 12x12 paper. Don't know what I was thinking....the snowflake ended up being about 3 ft. in diameter! We did manage to find a place to hang it - since we won't be socializing for the holidays, it looks good above our kitchen table.
