Creative Memories Virtual Crop

Last week Creative Memories held their weekend-long Virtual Crop.  Our local Snippy Scrappers held a virtual crop coinciding with Creative Memories.  They are such a fun, supportive and inspirational group.  I love playing there.  I try to never miss the crops.

You Don't Look 8

It was the Creative Memories World Virtual Crop this past weekend and we had a fun virtual crop of our own with Snippy Scrappers.  I'm kind of late to the game getting my layouts posted, but finally managed to find some time.  The adorable baby here is our oldest grandson.

World Virtual Crop with Creative Memories

Creative Memories held their World Virtual Crop all weekend - I played along with the Snippy Scrappers as we all worked on the fabulous sketches provided by Creative Memories.  Scrapping with the Snippy Scrappers is such a fun, supportive, and inspirational time.  I enjoy having the opportunity for their feedback.

I try to never miss the virtual crop - I was inspired to complete nine of the layouts.  LOL!

Layout for the Snippy Scrappers

I'm trying hard to make up for my miserable blog content while we were working on home-improvement projects. This layout, a Project Recipe from Creative Memories, shares some days of site seeing with Michigan friends.

Snippy Scrappers in March

There's something about babies ... and pandas.  The adorable panda images are from Kadoodle Bug.  With a name like that, how could they be anything but cute?

Snippy Scrappers and Borders

My, the weeks are flying by!  The Snippy Scrappers met again this week with some new ideas for borders.

The critters are a bit difficult to see - they are a variety of pandas from Kadoodle Bug.
This border is a simple layered border, but allows the focus to be on the title attached to it.  For this album, I'm using Free Digital Scrapbooking's April Showers.

Zoom Layout from Snippy Scrappers

I'm back today with another layout from a Snippy Scrappers Zoom session earlier this month.  I used Kawaii Ornament Digi Kit from Little Scraps of Heaven.  The photo will be my grandson decked out as a zombie courtesy of Halloween.

The fab zombie came from Creative Fabrica, and I think my grandson is gonna love it, don't you?  Good zombie embellishments are hard to find.

The journaling came from my daughter-in-law's Facebook thoughts, and it totally cracked me up with the photo.

Snippy Scrappers Pinwheel Layout

Well, I'm a little late on posting - I created this layout with the Snippy Scrappers at the beginning of the month.  Isn't it gorgeous?  So is my great-niece whose photos will complete the pages.

The title was computer generated, and I used deer from StarJam Lines.

Snippy Scrappers "Sweater" Layout

This baby layout just melts my heart.  It was inspired by a Sweater Page at the Snippy Scrappers' Zoom class Wednesday.  The digital paper is from Digi Crea, and I used a lot of my millions of pearls for buttons and lacy embellishments.  The lace color is from Monica's Creative Room.

Relaxing in the Yard!

Sitting in our yard, it's evident retirement was a good choice!  Here are photos from an evening on which we are celebrating the "wild" horses visiting our neighborhood.

Creative Memories Zoom Class - 10/21/20

Woo Hoo!  Every other Wednesday during the pandemic means it's time for new layouts from Snippy Scrappers.

This layout makes a beautiful bold statement.  The papers and embellishment is from We Are 3 - Trains.   Be sure to visit We Are 3's Facebook page to see fabulously inspirational work from the Design team.

Snippy Scrappers: Sketch Challenge

It's the last challenge of the Snippy Scrappers Groupies September challenge - a card sketch.  Certainly my entry is a very rough CASE of the actual sketch - not exactly what I had envisioned when I began, but I at the very least salvaged the card to be pretty cute.  Not such a failure after all.

September Challenge at Snippy Scrappers

WooHoo!  The Snippy Scrappers September Challenge has begun!

Ahhh....a card to CASE!  I decided to keep the design and see what I could pull out of my stash (as always).  While the fairy godmother turned a pumpkin into a coach - I turned the pumpkins into sunflowers.  All the papers are from my stash - and, of course, I do have a lot of We Are 3 papers in my stash ... so on this card I have some Birthday Party, Autumn Flannel, and Howdy Autumn.

So that's my second project for the challenge (#SnippySept2).  I enjoy a good challenge.

Snippy Scappers September Challenge

This layout was inspired by the fun sketch challenge at Snippy Scrappers...flipped vertically.  For my layout, I chose Kawaii Ornament digital papers.  I added embellishments from Miss Kate Cuttables, Graphic 45, and Digital Crea - all from my stash.  The Left border is Fleur de Lis - but don't know where that came from.

Snippy Scrappers Zoom Crop

Well, I participated in another free Zoom scrapbook session with The Snippy Scrappers from Tucson/Sahuarita - Creative Memories Advisors.  I've enjoyed their layout ideas the past few (pandemic) months, but I couldn't let the day go by without sharing I think my favorite layout shared so far.  It's a simple layout - just the triangular border along the side - but it's just enough to give some color and leaves just enough room for some fun embellishments.

They also shared another simple layout - on this one, I really like the folded corners for color - but especially like how I'm able to tuck my photos into the corners...thinking I won't even add any additional elements.

The "memories" title and the pool floats are from Miss Kate Cuttables - I popped these layers to jazz it up a bit.

Little Scraps of Heaven Kawaii Ornament

Okay, tell me I can't scrapbook my grandson's life without photos!  I don't get many photos of his activities, so I resorted to using a comic and Facebook post that depicts our lives during the pandemic.  The layout is inspired by Tucson's Snippy Scrappers, Creative Memories consultants.  I added some silhouette karate images.  Perfect for the times, huh?
The gorgeous papers are from Little Scraps of Heaven called Kawaii Ornament.
