Birthday Rocket Card - Get Creative's Blogaversary

Today I'm sharing a card that features Retro Rocket by Dr. Digi.
That retro rocket melts my heart! Doesn't it remind you of great times when you were younger?!?! Using my word-processing program, I added a black frame and sentiment.  So fun!  To finish I added some stickers in the corner.

This all to celebrate the Blogaversary at Get Creative Challenges.  Be sure to join us by submitting your birthday-themed creation.  I hope you like all the designers' samples at Get Creative.

Thought I would also enter this into the challenge at Glitter 'n' Sparkle - Anything Goes.  Lots of cool entries there, too!  Thanks for stopping by!

Sit Down Doing Nothing and Get Creative Challenge

Hi Friends!

How was your weekend? Did you have a chance to escape to your craft table? I had the joy of making something fun with only black and white - the theme for the current challenge at Get Creative, sponsored by The Eastwind.  Come Halloween, I hope this will brighten someone's day!  Make a simple craft this week - Get Creative with black and white!

Hi, Everyone!

Today I'm here to share the challenge at Get Creative Challenges.  The current challenge is St. Patrick's Day - be sure to visit that site to see some more gorgeous cards from the Get Creative Design Team!

In selecting an image from our sponsor, Pattie's Creations, I was drawn to this beautiful Leprechaun hat - Hope you enjoy my card!
The sentiment is by TLC Creations.

2016 - Get Creative

NEW is the focus of this week's challenge at Get Creative.  We have a unique sponsor for this challenge - Rick St. Dennis.  His work is fun and quirky - I could not resist using his image "I Got Decorating to do."  I am very close to becoming this woman since I've retired - so for me it was a good reminder that perhaps New Year's Resolutions do have some merit.
Check out the challenge at Get Creative - we are starting off the year with some fun inspiration from the design team.  Then share your link to a "new" project.

Sami Stamps Creates Wonderful Images for Getting Creative

I always love the challenge I get designing for Get Creative Challenges.  My fellow designers always have such gorgeous projects.  Today - I'm going simple.  Well, this card actually was not as simple to make as it looks.  But I did want my bird to stand out - so kept the background simple.

This week's sponsor is Sami Stamps.  I am using Valentine Rose Feathers.  That's right - it's a Valentine stamp!  But Valentine Rose is all dressed up for Halloween - I'm sure you didn't even recognize her!  You've got it - Get Creative's theme is Halloween Colors.

Come join in on all the fun at Get Creative Challenges - add your link for a chance to win free digis from Sami Stamps.

Say it with a Daisy Rope

Hello!

Do you like to play with digis?  Get Creative is sponsoring a challenge sponsored by The Stamping Boutique.  Join in the fun, share your creation (with flowers), and perhaps win 2-3 digital stamps.

For my sample, I am using The Stamping Boutique's digital image Daisy Rope

I printed the image three times - colored with watercolor pencils:
  • With the sentiment
  • One fussy cut to fit the sentiment circle
  • One enlarged with individual flowers cut for the corners

I hope you will join the fun at Get Creative Challenges.
