A Card for We Are 3

I used the We Are 3 digital paper collection called "Bird Songs" for creating today's card.  I used a sentiment from "Smiles."  I changed the color to blue and added a blue border.  My finished card needed something - a couple Heartfelt Creations die-cut leaves in my stash added the finishing touch.

This card with this nice large sentiment is perfect for Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #188 - Add a Sentiment.

I created a layout using wonderful digital papers from We Are 3 - Nature Blends, Burlap Beach, and Pastel Burlap.  The design is inspired by Sketch #206 at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenges.

Pretty Petals 1

Today's card is one I truly felt creative making - even though I was casing a card from the Featured Stamper at Splitcoast Stampers.  I love how her card was a simple card to case - but using Inspirational digital papers from We Are 3 and Pretty Petals 1 from Miss Daisy - I just love how they all fell together.  And the colors of these papers?  Dreamy!

Guest Designer - Miss Daisy Stamps

You know how sometimes you see an image or product that catches your eye?  In November, We Are 3 offered a free digi pak (Color Me Christmas) that caught my eye - one of those that had to be used in a project NOW! The card I made was picked as the #1 winner in the November Challenge at Miss Daisy Stamps - that win includes an invite to guest design for a month.  What fun!  Here is the first card I made.

For my card, I used the digi pack I won as my prize - Inspiration.  The background paper is called Embedded in my Heart.  The swan and the inspirational strip come from Rejoice.  Then I embellished with butterflies using Pretty Wings 2 from Miss Daisy Stamps.
