Candy Ski

I created a fun pop-up card with Candy Ski and A Giant Candy Cane from our sponsor at Kerst Christmas Challenge - The Paper Shelter.

I needed to fill some empty spots, so I used the tree from Candy Ski printed in different sizes.

Another Cutie for the Kerst Christmas Challenge

It's always exciting at the Kerst Christmas Challenge.  Meet Heavenly Christmas Carol from our sponsor, The Paper Shelter.  Isn't she a cutie?

Angels always come to mind when I hear "O, Holy Night."

Heavenly Christmas Carol is colored digitally.  LOVE her!

Here are links to products I used to create this card.

With Fairy Backgrounds as my background and the mix of colors with the angel, there was already a lot going on.  However, I couldn't resist adding some musical notes from a retired paper collection.  I layered the angel - then called it done.

Remember to visit the Kerst Challenge to see fabulous inspiration by the design team.

Introducing Here Come the Penguins from The Paper Shelter

Today I have my first card for this year's Kerst Christmas Challenges.  It's funny how I first looked at the image from our sponsor and though there was no way I could make this "special."  But after some searching, my friend Sandy at Simply Crafty provided some inspiration - now I love my card!  I've gotta say - Sandy has saved my butt more than a few times when I've been stuck for a design.  It's not very noticeable, but as well as the fun penguins, I used the background provided with this set - which added just enough additional color.  The image is "Here Come the Penguins" by our sponsor, The Paper Shelter (comes with the penguins and a beautiful winter background).  The box card design is Penguin Box Card by Simply Crafty.  The sentiment came from my stash.

New Freebie from The Outlawz

It's July, and you know what that means.  New Progressive Freebie Challenge at the Outlawz.  I'm thrilled  to be showcasing Funny Sunflower.  This cutie is precolored - I added some dimension by layering two copies of the top layer of flower petals.  I used my Eclips for the computer-generated title, and papers are from Digital Scrapbooking Experts.  Photo...title...flower - called it done!

You can check out inspiration for the freebie on The Outlawz Facebook Group, but also take a peek at The Paper Shelter to support our sponsor.  The Progressive Challenge runs through the end of July.  Lots of fun to be had....hope to see you there.

Going to be a lean month for crafting, as we are painting the entire inside of our house (lots of packing and moving boxes!), and I hope to get in a trip to see my sister after my last trip in June being canceled by the airlines.

Design Team Member for the Kerst Christmas Challenge

Today's card is for the Kerst Christmas Challenge, which should have been posted a couple weeks ago when I joined the Kerst Christmas Design Team. I will blame all the "decisions" I've had to make to get my bathroom remodel rolling - but it possibly may have actually been a "Green Valley moment" forgetting to blog. I did manage to get it posted before the new challenge begins in April.  The Christmas Magic paper is digital from We Are 3.

The adorable image I used is from our sponsor, The Paper Shelter, called Heavenly Christmas Carol.  She's precolored, and I printed extra trees to use in my snowy hills.  I added a gem for the sun...and there you go!

Progressive Freebie at The Outlawz

A new challenge started Tuesday at The Outlawz - Freebie Progressive.  We are using the fabulous Sharing is Caring from The Paper Shelter. I used a gingham background behind the image to give that soda fountain feel.

I had a ball with this challenge as The Paper Shelter provided a pre-colored image and I didn't have to take time to color.  There's lots more inspiration at The Outlawz, so be sure to check out the fab makes there.  Can't wait to see what you create.
