Progressive Freebie for The Outlawz

For this month's Progressive Freebie Challenge at The Outlawz, I chose to create a tag and used We Are 3's Canvas Dreams for the background behind my snowman, lacy frame, and tag.

I used the preprinted version of the snowman (Seasons Tweetings - Wink, Wink Ink) and cropped him just a bit to fit into the circle.  You can clearly see and enjoy the amazing detail in this image.

Just for practice, I decide to add the jewels with hot-fix rhinestones, so it took quite a while as this was just my second attempt at this process. I can see I didn't create the straight line I hoped to, but learned much during the process.

I used Love SVG's Coral Monogram Frames for this project.  Be sure to check out The Outlawz to see the fabulous inspiration from the participants and come play along.

Progressive Freebie for The Outlawz

I'm loving the new embossing folder I just received from my sister and couldn't resist making a card using The Outlawz Progressive Freebie with this folder because it's nearly a mirror image of the photo we're using - Autumn Fall Reading Girl from Star Stampz.  I was worried I made the stamp image too small....but - this doesn't happen - but the car is exactly as I envisioned.  This is a busy image, so coloring the details was more than a bit challenging, but it was fun.  Just don't look too closely!  I just love the image, though.

Here is a closeup of the detail.

Progressive Freebie Challenge

Do you think there's enough purple in this card?  The adorable image is Stacy the Stegosaurus by Dr. Digi...this month's Progressive Freebie at the Outlawz Challenges.  Digital paper behind is from the Marble and Bubble collection from Creative Fabrica; I forget who created the sentiment.  The gorgeous design is from Crafting with April - her freebie included a bee image and sentiment to go with the honeycomb design here.

Stacy is colored digitally.  She is one of my faves.  I think the sentiment is cute with the look Stacy is giving us.

New Freebie from The Outlawz

It's July, and you know what that means.  New Progressive Freebie Challenge at the Outlawz.  I'm thrilled  to be showcasing Funny Sunflower.  This cutie is precolored - I added some dimension by layering two copies of the top layer of flower petals.  I used my Eclips for the computer-generated title, and papers are from Digital Scrapbooking Experts.  Photo...title...flower - called it done!

You can check out inspiration for the freebie on The Outlawz Facebook Group, but also take a peek at The Paper Shelter to support our sponsor.  The Progressive Challenge runs through the end of July.  Lots of fun to be had....hope to see you there.

Going to be a lean month for crafting, as we are painting the entire inside of our house (lots of packing and moving boxes!), and I hope to get in a trip to see my sister after my last trip in June being canceled by the airlines.

Grace Selfie for Freebie Progressive Challenge

It's the beginning of May, and you know what that means.  New Progressive Freebie Challenge at the Outlawz.  Spring is here, and I'm thrilled to be showcasing Charming Asters.  The flowers are pre-colored, but I colored the cute freebie digitally.  I used We Are 3's Really Simple for the background, which really made the Asters pop.  The matting is Alcohol Splashes for the matting.  I added the freebie to the frame and called it done.

You can check out inspiration for the new freebie on The Outlawz Challenge page, but also take a peek at We Are 3's Etsy shop.  The Progressive Freebie Challenge runs through May 31.  Lots of fun!  Hope to see you there.

New Progressive Freebie Challenge at The Outlawz

Today's card is for the February Progressive Freebie Challenge at The Outlawz.  The image is Flower Pot Hat from Hetty Clare.

Here's the image in the Hetty Clare Etsy Shop.  It was a tough decision on color choices.  She was colored in a full array of blue/green colors.  She was cut with an oval frame - the matting and papers are from Creative Memories.

Perhaps I should have done a bit of distressing to give it more of an antique feel.  The other challenge participants have done a fabulous job with this image, so be sure to visit the Progressive Freebie Challenge and leave them some love.

Freebie Progressive January

Tell me this isn't the yummiest little Rainbow Girl ever seen!  I had fun coloring her.  She's available free if you participate in the Freebie Progressive Challenge at The Outlawz and in the All Dressed Up digi shop.  For the tag and outside border, I used Scenic Views from We Are 3.  I used a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthday set.

Be sure to pop over to The Outlawz to see the fabulous inspiration.

New Challenge at The Outlawz!

Today's card is for the October Progressive Freebie Challenge at The Outlawz - these freebies always push my creative limit.  They always end up being fun!  The challenge this month is Tiff's Garden, sponsored by Oddball Art.  To tell you the truth - I seldom have ideas and get a bit overwhelmed with coming up with something creative...but are usually excited with the results! It's a simple card using one of the digi papers from We Are 3's Inky Textures pack. The image is digitally colored.  The lovely paper from Inky Textures make a perfect background.   Be sure to stop by The Outlawz to see the fab makes by everyone and come play along.

New Progressive Freebie Challenge at The Outlawz

It's September - time for a new Progressive Freebie challenge at The Outlawz.  Today I'm showcasing the gorgeous The Little Ballerina.  I decided to color her in traditional pink.  Of course, I added ballerina slippers using Ballet Shoes from Angie's Digital Stamps, using pink, because pink is just made for ballerinas, don't you think?

She's colored digitally.  Everything was cut using my Eclips and several layers popped.  The sentiment is from Power Poppy and popped as well.  Be sure to visit the Progressive Freebie challenge on the first of each month for a new freebie - and remember to join us for all the fun.

Humorous Christmas Card for The Outlawz Progressive Freebie

I'm so excited about how my card turned out.  The Progressive Freebie this month is Bertha's Bread-Making Bonanza - I decided to use We Are 3's Paisley Textures - although not Christmas-themed paper, I liked the icy-blue feel it had.  Of course, that paper collection also includes a variety of pastel paisley papers (yellow, lavender, pink, etc.).  I added snowflakes for a special Christmas effect.  (I've been hoarding these snowflakes for years!)  I also added a fun sentiment to the bottom to finish it off.  I also used Woodland Delight for the table.

The Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge

Almost forgot to share the card I made for The Outlawz Progressive Challenge.  The Freebie is the adorable Bug Brats Easter.

She's precolored.  The sentiment is from Robin Gough Designs Whimsical Words of Love.  Butterflies by Martha Stewart.

The Outlawz Proressive Freebie March Challenge

Woohoo!  A new Freebie at the Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge.  It's LuLu Bee from Paper Nest Dolls.

Just ask to join if you haven't already.

I chose to digitally paper piece the image using Bumble Bee (retired) and Just Autumn from We Are 3.

The main image, of course, is the beautiful LuLu Bee.  Isn't she gorgeous?  Her background is from the Bumble Bee collection.

I couldn't resist adding some pieces of the adorable  Bumble Bee honeycomb pattern.

Have to say I LOVE how it came out.  Excited to see the rest of the entries?  Hop on over to the Progressive Freebie site to see.  Can't wait to see what you come up with as well.  The challenge runs through the end of the month.
