Summer is coming soon, and one of the most beautiful places to be is Neebish Island in Michigan!  Today, I have a Cut-Apart Card for the strong ladies on Neebish Island.

Debuting the Black Bear

Thanks for joining me for another set of cards for Fort Wilkins State Park!  Black bears feeding at the dump are an icon in Copper Harbor - here are a few simple cards to celebrate the black bears.

Harvesting Another Birthday

Today I created a clean and simple birthday card for my brother-in-law . . . this card works well with the gift card for Tractor Supply.

Love is in the Air

One of my loves in cardmaking is making cards tone on tone.  So when my little sis asked for a special wedding card, I immediately had specific ideas in mind.  Her request - for a U.P. wedding in late January.  Those of you from Michigan and Wisconsin know that is insane in the first place!  And this year's weather certainly provided the snow the couple must have desired - so much so, that my sister wasn't even able to get to the wedding.  Her other requests were to include birch trees and pine cones.  Here is my design.  

Have to admit, I forgot where I found the birch tree, church, and couple files.  The pinecones are from the Pinecones and Berries file from Miss Kate Cuttables. 

Much to my sister's surprise - when the couple posted pictures of their wedding - their cake colors matched this card perfectly....and even included a U.P. Wedding topper.

Officially an Islander

Happy Saturday!  Hope you are having a great day and an even better weekend.  Now onto some papercrafting stuff.

So my sister moved to Neebish Island a while ago...but just finished the final move by closing on their old house.  While my U.P. cards have been popular, I wanted to add a little something to them for my sister....so I placed a small sticker embellishment on the right side of the Soo to represent my sister's new home of Neebish Island.
