Sitting Pretty

Just finished Christmas gifts for my nephews...so sitting pretty now.  Tried a few new things...with both good and bad results.  First item with a "swoosh."  Kind of like that!

Merry Christmas Card

This card is very easy to create.  Just use a photo-editing program to include the background scene, place the fairy, and add a sentiment. 

Birthday Card

This is one of my favorite gift card holders I've made - and it won me a cool $10 gift card. 

Wedding

Shhhh.  It's a gift - the first page of a wedding album I'm making for friends getting married in a couple weeks.  I don't think she ever looks at my blog....so good to share here.

Loving You Forever

I used Featured Stamper 927 from Splitcoast for inspiration for this card - and recreated the card digitally.

This card was scraplifted from this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast - SybilMcC. The paper is Paper Studio.  The flamingos are Waterfcolor Flamingos from Creative Fabrica.

Friends Layout

Here's a layout I made for a Cherry Top Challenge with a "Friends" theme. The starry background paper has been in my stash since I was teaching classes.  All the other papers are scraps in mystash.  The border is the leftover pieces from scalloped borders I cut some time ago.  The butterflies were a gift from another crafty friend that were perfect for this page. That's the kind of layout I like - Open a couple storage folders, pull out some papers, and you're done! Oh, I did cut the lacy circle in the middle....but I cut several different circles so next time I need a circle....check out the stash!

Flamingos in the Flowers

I got a bundle of flamingos from Creative Fabrica.  I think every one of them is so cool, I'm on a mission to use each one!  This is the time I wish I lived in Florida so I could use them in all my layouts.  LOL! Here is just one card.

Winterhaven 2-Page Layout

This layout is of Winterhaven's Christmas lights.  The neighborhood lights are SO magnificent - the photos not so much.  Yet they still bring back memores.

16th Anniversary

This is a two-page layout telling the story of our boring 16th anniversary celebration. This tells the story of our one and only anniversary not celebrated on or near a train because of Covid.  So it was a visit to the Saguaro National Park East.

Took a little siesta from posting while I planned this year's vacation to the Canadian Rocky Mountains.  We had a wonderful trip....and home life is getting back to normal.  So hope to be posting more regularly.
