Power Poppy Blossom Challenge

It's Day 4 of the new Power Poppy Blossom Challenge - although I'm not using "Spring" flowers, I was already creating this card using Power Poppy's Black-Eyed Susan - so I'm feeling pretty good sharing this in the challenge.  There is so much inspiration from the fabulous Bloomies - it's mind boggling.  There's almost a month to go to get your entry in.  Wow!  Today I'm sharing a card using papers from the new Graduation collection from We Are 3.  They have lovely bright colors.

I used the papers with the stars and "confetti" which are appropriate for all occasions.  The sentiments are computer generated.  While this card was created for someone who is very ill, I hope the beautiful bright colors will bring some joy for her and her family.

Valentine Be Mine!

An earlier freebie at My Scrap Chick  was a Gnome Candy Bar Wrapper.  This fabulous file is addictive!  And a wonderful way to use up scraps.  For these first adorable gnomes I used scraps from the Spring Butterflies and Dreamy Creamy collections...both from We Are 3  They are definitely fun to make!  I added some miscellaneous word art perfect for the neighborhood kiddies for Valentine's Day.

Here's a few others I made - all for the neighbor kiddies.  All from scraps - notice I did get a bit carried away!

New Featured Stamper Challenge #742

Featured Stamper Challenge #742 at Splitcoast Stampers is now live.  It runs through Saturday, so there's plenty of time to play.

This inspiration came from the Featured Stamper, Martina.  I chose one of the digi papers from Splatters collection (a total must have).

I like the masculine look of the design, so chose a sentiment from the Masculine set - this really fit the bill.  Cut and matted with a tag from My Scrap Chick's 6 Trendy Tags.

Baby Birdie

This is the fourth day for the tag challenge at the Ecal Users Group.

Obviously, I've opted for something simple.

I used We Are 3's retired Baby Birdie for the image.  She is colored digitally.

The sentiment is from SVGCuts.

Finally, the tag is cut from 6 Trendy Tags - My Scrap Chick.  Simple tag - but sweet, don't you think?

Ecal Users Group Easter Tag Challenge

Always fun to join in the challenges at the Ecal Users Group.  This week we want to see Easter and tags!  I knew immediately I wanted to use some files I've never used before.  This one - I can't even remember some of the files I used.

Easter Tag Challenge at Ecal Users Group

Can't let Easter go by without celebrating with the gals in the Eclips and Ecal Users Group.  The chick is from Miss Kate Cuttables that was a freebie five years ago.  Miss Kate continues to give freebies from time to time - Woo hoo!   The sentiment was a freebie from SVGCuts.  The paper was a freebie, too - probably from Miss Kate Cuttables.  Are you seeing a theme here?  I printed this as a single-layer tag, using a tag from My Scrap chick for the tag shape.  Easy peasy.  Happy Easter!

Happy Easter

The sentiment is from Love SVG.  The bunny is from 2 Cute Ink, colored digitally.  The tag shape is from My Scrap Chick.  This week my tags are for an Easter Tag challenge at the Eclips and Ecal Users Group - open to anyone using Ecal.

Hearts Emphasis

Today is the sixth day of the SG Scrap Squad's Heart Emphasis Virtual Crop - a three-week long set of challenges using hearts.  I've been lurking this site for a while now - thought I would finally become a participant.  This challenge is to create a layout with a tag(s) embellished with hearts.

Spring Medley and Berry Good for Stick It Down

This month's double-page challenge at Stick It Down.  Ooh, how fun! I had lots of choices for a title, but finally decided on Miss Kate Cuttables' Fall Words.  I love how Creative Memories' kits include so many coordinated embellishments - so easy to quickly style your layouts.  The papers are from the Spring Medley and Berry Good kits.  I added a border from My Scrap Chick and called it done.

Hunting Season is On its Way!

At We Are 3, there's a new collection out - Ink-Blended Scenes.  Which circle is your fave?

I've been having a ball matching up silhouettes with the scenes.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The box is from My Scrap Chick.  The deer is from Hungry JPEG - cut on my Eclips.

SALSA Gift Bag Swap

This month at SALSA, the Gift Bag Swap theme is New Beginnings.
It's difficult to see the patterns on the paper, but the papers came from We Are 3's Pastel Angel collection, which has pretty pastel colors.  The Rocking Horse is a freebie from SVG Cuts.  The doily is a freebie from Monica's Creative Room (#13).  The border is Cafe Border from My Scrap Chick.

Back in the Groove

Hello!  I've been traveling for the past month - visiting friends and family in Michigan.  Could not wait to get back to my craft table and scrap some pics of my grandson with us!  But have to admit - it did take me a few days to get back in the groove!

Unfortunately, our kids prefer we don't post pics the grands - so no photo here.  But this page will be the last in the album with six additional photos of my hubby and me using the Fuse Tool - and a stkr.it is included at the top.  Scanning the QR Code on the sticker will take you to a video of my hubby and me blowing kisses to our grandson.  Take a look!

This layout uses the current free svg from My Scrap Chick - Cafe Border cut with my Sizzix eClips (#sizzixeclips).  I've added some sparkle (glittered flowers) and bling (pearls added to border), inspired by the current challenge - Twisted Thursday at The Outlawz.

Simplicity Unleashed

Needed something quick - fresh and fabulous without taking a ton of time.
The border is from Miss Kate Cuttables - the photo frames are from My Scrap Chick.
