I really love the bright colors of the Little Star collection. This is a simple layout that went together quickly. No embellies other than the frame around the title...but you could easily add some on both sides.

Vintage Carnival

The patterned papers in this layout are from the Vintage Carnival Collection (We Are 3). The title is computer generated.

The design is inspired by the Sketch Challenge at Stick It Down.  This was loads of fun - such a great opportunity to use up scraps to make the radial design.  You must stop by Stick It Down to see the beautiful entries.  Then why not have a go at it yourself?  Stick It Down also has a wonderful two-page layout sketch.  There's still time to enter this month!

Mother's Day with Adrian

The Stick It Down Sketch Challenge this month has a challenging layout. I had a hard time making this sketch my own. This does not at all look like what was in my head when I designed it....and at some point I had to say, "Oh, well....good enough." I know the color scheme I picked out for this grandson's current album is dark - and I think this sketch is just more well suited to pastel colors and a feminine theme.

Wave Flourish with Miss Kate Cuttables

This layout is totally digital except the photo and matting - and it was fun to design! I used Miss Kate Cuttable's Wave Flourish to make the waves at the bottom of the layout. I printed bubbles along the sides, and used a computer-generated title.

I was inspired by a Leprechaun to make this St. Patrick's Day layout for my grandson's scrapbook - fun and easy to make.

I used patterned paper from We Are 3's Vintage Carnival behind the journaling.

Vintage Carnival is one of my favorite collections from We Are 3....something that brings back memories of my childhood.....remember all the local amusement parks when we were young?  Well this collection is a throwback to those days....always reminds me of the weathered appearance of carnival rides.  I've been using this collection for my grandson's latest scrapbook - and every time I create a layout, I'm hit with a wave of nostalgia.  You can check out this collection here.

I'm back with a layout....I haven't created a layout for this grandson for quite some time.  I enjoy layouts for his album because the paper collection I chose - Little Star - is nice and bright.

I made this layout with Vintage Carnival from We Are 3 for my grandson's scrapbook.  Can't share photos - but they are of Mommy and Son celebrating Valentine's Day with a day out bowling and McDonald's.

Featured Stamper

Today's post is for the Featured Stamper challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.  I love challenges - challenges to CASE are the best.  And when the Featured Stamper has a layout - and a CAS layout - even better.  

Our grandson's live 2000+ miles away.  We are fortunate to be able to video chat with our oldest grandson from time to time - but the attention span of a three-year-old to sit and talk with grandparents he really doesn't know - well there just plain isn't!  However, we can keep him interested once we start playing with the buttons to turn our faces into different characters.  I'm showing my age - I don't even know what this is called!  LOL!  Anyway, this layout will feature him as different characters during our last video chat.  For Baba's sake, I hope they change these faces often, 'cuz Baba's attention span is about that of a three-year-old during these calls!  :D
