Kerst Christmas - June Challenge

Here's a holiday scrapbook layout for the Kerst Christmas - June Challenge.  June's theme is Ribbon or Lace, and I used a ribbon bow on my tag.  I used digital paper from We Are 3 (Christmas Textures), sentiments from our sponsor, Jan's Digitals, and I digitally colored Christmas Bears from our sponsor, Last-Minute Manda.

Creative Memories Virtual Crop

Last week Creative Memories held their weekend-long Virtual Crop.  Our local Snippy Scrappers held a virtual crop coinciding with Creative Memories.  They are such a fun, supportive and inspirational group.  I love playing there.  I try to never miss the crops.

Layout for the Snippy Scrappers

I'm trying hard to make up for my miserable blog content while we were working on home-improvement projects. This layout, a Project Recipe from Creative Memories, shares some days of site seeing with Michigan friends.

Happy Birthday (on the Calendar)

The calendar is Calendar from We Are 3 on Etsy (only $4)  I thought it would be a great accent to a birthday layout in a pretty frame.  I printed the frame using paper pattern from the Christmas Textures collection

Greetings from Arizona

I've been wanting to do a project with the beautiful Raccoon Girl Birdcage Silhouette - finally took the time.  I had the perfect ink-blended paper from We Are 3 - Christmas Textures.

The added flowers are preprinted watercolor flowers in my stash (think they are from Creative Fabrica - but not sure).  I attached a computer-generated sentiment.

Christmas Textures and Spider Thoughts for We Are 3

I had a couple weeks off from crafting, but did spend time watching sessions of the Card Maker Success Summit.  Going back now to review some of the techniques there.  Lots of foiling....but I never felt the traditional techniques for foiling were worth the trouble or cost.  One participant though threw out there that she uses metallic vinyl as her foiling technique.  Eureka!  So here is a card with a bit of glimmer with the help of a frame cut from metallic vinyl and ironed onto my card front.

My pop of glimmer is the pink/purple frame - it is a little difficult to tell in this photo that it is metallic.  The frame was cut using a Laced Frame from Monica's Creative Room. I added some flowers and leaves from my stash.  The background paper is from We Are 3's Christmas Textures.  The sentiment is from the Spider Thoughts set from We Are 3.

Anything Goes Design for Kerst Christmas

I'm thrilled to be a designer for the Kerst Christmas Challenge.  One of our sponsors this month is Last-Minute Manda - with North Pole Express.  Gotta say I laughed out loud when I took the photo of my train scene...it wasn't until then I realized my "fence" is actually supposed to be train tracks!

Be sure to visit the Kerst Christmas Challenge for more fabulous holiday designs and come play along.

Christmas Textures for We Are 3

Well, you all know I love me some Christmas, and We Are 3's digital papers are some of my faves.  Here is another make using Christmas Textures.  I was thrilled with my poinsettia from Power Poppy to complete my card, and even happier to have a beautiful cut with Monica's Creative Room Laced Frame.  Woo Hoo!

The poinsettia is colored digitally.  It's cut with my Eclips and popped in the center cut of the frame.  Boy, the shadows in this pic look mighty dark - poor photo, because the actual poinsettia is gorgeous!

Christmas Textures Layout

It's a new release for We Are 3, and I'm showcasing the fabulous Christmas Textures.  Isn't it gorgeous?  The colors just scream CHRISTMAS to me, so I decided to catch up on some holiday scrapbooking.

I love the way it turned out.  Be sure to check out the rest of the fun papers being showcased in the We Are 3 FB group.
