Blog Hop - Lavender Golden Owls

I've been thinking about making Halloween treat bags for the neighbors - I tend to wait until the last minute, then have to scurry.  I decided for the girl ghouls to make something a bit more girlie than Halloweeny, so I chose Lavender Golden digital papers from We Are 3.  I was inspired by a post at Paper Crave.  I like what I ended up with.  Paper Crave provides a great free template, if you're interested.  Here's what I came up with.

Here is the entire list of Blog Hop participants.  Check out the other beautiful projects!

Good Morning!

I made this card with digital paper from We Are 3.  The image is Jessica Lynn's Brentwood Owl  Coffee.  I used a little paper piecing for the owl's coffee cup.  I gradient colored the sentiment from Smiles - We Are 3.  All the papers I used are from Once Upon a Time - We Are 3.  Edges are distressed with VersaColor.

Thank You

I am back with a card inspired by the challenge at Outlawz Challenges - Distress It!  Once the watercoloring is completed, this is really a clean and simple card using Thank You included in the Card Phrase Set (Miss Kate Cuttables).

Floral Pleasures

Using preprinted digital images can be so convenient, especially when you are short on time (as well as ideas).  However, it is always fun if you play with different paper colors and patterns to achieve different results.  Today, I am sharing a quick and simple card using Pure Prairie Bouquet along with some Craftsmith cardstock to make a quick and simple card.

Cactus Garden

Hello again, Everyone!

Today I'm here to share some stunning cards I made in a class yesterday taught by Susan Bossierre at AZ Scrapbooking!  She is so talented.  This is only the second time I've used Color Burst - I was not impressed the first time - but Susan's eye and fabulous technique ideas work well for me!  Stunning - I will have Color Burst on my craft table within days.  :D

Florida Move

I love embossed embellishments - and I have just a few go-to die/embossing kits.  These quickly give a plain card a pop of personality!  Today's cards make up a gift for my hair stylist who will be moving to Florida.  I thought they'd make great cards to send to her friends with her new address - but I left them blank since most people just text that info nowadays...they will still be perfect for anytime notes from Florida.

And, as usual lately, all made from scraps!  In fact, after messing up a couple of cuts, I found myself in the garbage looking for real scraps so all my cards would coordinate.  LOL!
