Web Works by We Are 3

Today I'm sharing a card for Halloween!
I used the new Web Works for all the patterned papers.  I also used a sentiment from the new Spider Thoughts.  For my embellie, I used a graphic from my stash.

Fall Into Happiness

I love Brick Firestation from We Are 3.  I'm in love with how it provided a background for this mystery-item card for a local swap - the mystery item is the huge watercolored leaf.  The Brick Firestation background is so simple and complex at the same time!

Halloween Eyes on You

Hello, Everyone!  Here today with a card using Halloween digital papers from We Are 3.  Don't you think this set is just the sweetest?  Absolutely perfect for Halloween lovers.
I used an image from Nikki Burnette and colored her using Adobe Phooshop. I glue the image down to the base - then popped up the photo page for some dimension.  I add some glitter to the photo frame and pumpkin.  The glitter doesn't do much for my card in the photo - but in person, I love it!

Welcome, Dreaming Tree

Today I am using a free file - Spooky Coffin - from the Dreaming Tree.  The Dreaming Tree is a new company - their work so far has a nice masculine touch we don't often see - they have some lantern files that just leaves me in awe.  I cannot wait to see what Leo will do with new files over the coming months!  This coffin was easy to put together and is just the right size for Halloween treats for that special Spook!

Autumn Greetings

Hello, Everyone!

This weekend's project is all about Fall!  Funny thing is, I went to a "spring" paper pack to use for these wonderful autumn colors.  I hope these will inspire your creative spirit!  For more inspiration, be sure to visit Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge Blog - join us for Anything Goes!

Cornucopia

Hi Everyone,
The holidays are near - this past year flew by so fast!  Today I took some time to jump-start my creative juices by making paper cornucopias to share with family members.

My inspiration came when I was looking for a unique project for "Craft It Forward."  I found this pattern at SVG Cuts.  Although it's difficult to take a good picture of the cornucopia itself with the flowers and ribbons that finish it off, it's an inspiring project - and a great family activity idea, as they are extremely simple to make...I think I've made a dozen so far!  These are just a couple of the ones I made today.

Pumpkin Raking Leaves

Hi Everyone,

As I mentioned last week, the Halloween Cardmaking season is now in full swing at my house.  Seriously, the 2 Cute Ink Halloween and Fall digi stamps are amazingly fun to work with!  With cute Halloween/Fall spiders and pumpkins and bats and cats, these digi stamps will make your cards pop!

For today's card, I used the Pumpkin/Leaves digi stamp....and loved how this one turned out in glitter (especially the leaves).  I popped the pumpkin up with a wobble sticker.  So my pumpkin is an "action" raker.  Instructions for using glitter with digi stamps can be found here.

Here's my pumpkin "wobbling."

Supplies Used

  • Pumpkin Leaves Digi Stamp
  • Glitter
    • Copper, Java Bean, Classic Taupe, Regal Red (Glitter Ritz)
  • Cardstock - Halloween paper pack purchased on clearance at Hobby Lobby
  • Action Wobble
