We Are 3

We Are 3 has so many cute digital paper collections.  This is one of my favorites - Birthday Party  You'll see me using this turquoise floral pattern a lot because it is just so sweet.  

This design was quick to make - made easy by My Scrap Chick.  The card is made using the file You're Invited.  I changed out the sentiment to one from the All Occasion collection from We Are 3.

April's Release from We Are 3 includes a new set of Window Views that I have fallen in love with.  The collection has the cutest spring window ideas.  Here are some party place cards I made with one of the Window Views and I changed up the Window Layers to personalize for my guests...including the new Kitty Looking and Dog Looking for our pet lovers.  Love the new collection Birthday Party that includes the floral background I used for my cards.  Be sure to check these out.

               

Does Anyone Else Feel Crabby?

Need a little water on your card?  There are so many cool and fun ways to depict water on a card - but the easiest is a piece of patterned paper - here I've used a piece of Dandelion Wishes (We Are 3) for my water.

A Glass of Wine will Make it all Better

Hello, Everyone!  I hope you're all having a good week!  Today I cased a card from Splitcoast Stampers - All is Well.  My scrapbook supplies have been all packed up for a couple get-togethers, and I didn't want to unpack and repack between groups.  So today's card is all digital.  I added the fun stitching from We Are 3.  I'm very proud of myself - while the wine glass and flowers are pre-colored, it was a challenge putting them together.  Those are actually four images I put together.  I added a little shading and a bit of "granite" beneath the glass. The fun sentiment is from Whimsical Love.  

I finished the card off with some stitching from We Are 3 - In Stitches.

Power Poppy Hues to Use

Power Poppy's Hues to Use this week is to use Spring colors of Pink, Yellow, and Turquoise.  I used a sassy Basket and Jeweled-Tone Eggs from We Are 3.  I really enjoyed coloring those Easter eggs - Hoping I get some time to color some real Easter eggs next week.

 

Loving SALSA Swaps

Two things I love - my local scrapbooking group SALSA and a fun mystery-item swap.  For this month's mystery item, each person was given a different rubber stamp - the member is to make a sample card with the stamp, then pass the stamp along with the sample to another member.  So what do I do?  Whip out some We Are 3 paper and a fun background image.  I kept it simple, as my crafting to-do pile is rising with Easter on its way.  I used background paper from the Dandelion Wishes collection from We Are 3 and a floral digi from Digital Crea - Letter to a Symphony...and, of course, my mystery item, Notre Dame Window.

Bingo for Twisted Thursday at The Outlawz

Here is a card I made with some scraps for Twisted Thursday's Bingo at The Outlawz Challenges.  The patterned papers are from Sunny Days - the flowers are die cut with paper from Dandelion Wishes - all from We Are 3.  I chose the first vertical column - Yellow, Die Cut, and Flowers.

 

Great Fish and Paper

I really love the colors of We Are 3's Dandelion Wishes.  These great papers and a really cute fish from The Hungry JPEG made a great little card.

Let the Fun Begin

I made this layout with Vintage Carnival from We Are 3 for my grandson's scrapbook.  Can't share photos - but they are of Mommy and Son celebrating Valentine's Day with a day out bowling and McDonald's.

Happy Birthday One-Layer Card

Hope you're all having a good week!!!  I made this cute birthday card from the Once Upon a Time Collection.  It's a one-layer card  kind of a collage of three of the different patterns in the collection.  I used the new Window View and Window Layers for the focus point . . . just perfect combination with the Once Upon a Time papers, don't ya think?  I added a sentiment from the Special Birthday collection.

Hope you like it and that I've inspired you to try making a one-layer card using your photo-editing program.  It went together quickly, and I really like the end result!  Let me know what you think.
