June Wedding

It's 14 years since we got married - and after two false starts, I have finally completed my wedding album. Here is my last page - programs fans we used since it was an outside wedding.
I absolutely loved working on my album - though am glad it's finished finally.  Now I flip through it thinking of all the things I would have done differently!  LOL!

June is for Weddings

Today I have a scrapbook layout to share...I know! Right?  Does this not shock you?  These photos aren't some of my best from our wedding - but I love the look on my face and I don't have many photos with my beautiful train.

Groom's Mother

Today's post features a layout featuring my mother-in-law at our wedding - and some pretty little blossom accents.
To create this layout, I used digital papers from two We Are 3 collections - Stamping Studio Welcome Package and Burlap Beach.

Paper Ala Mode - Scrapbook Layout

Hello there!

I'm using digital papers from We Are 3 for this layout - Nature Blends and Burlap Beach. For the Paper Ala Mode Challenge this week, I chose Cascading Hearts to use in my design.  First designed the layout on the computer to make sure I got all my hearts in the right place.

We Are 3© Digital Paper - Nature Blends                   We Are 3© Digital Paper - Burlap Beach Collection. Includes all 8 sheets per collection.

Anniversary Card

Hi, All!

Today I am with my hubby celebrating our 11th anniversary on our annual train trip - this year from Albuquerque to Santa Fe.  I always have a hard time making cards for my hubby - but I did get some last-minute inspiration the other day.

Today's card features a Wanted Poster with a pop-up image of the train at Huckleberry Railroad where we were married.  I'm loving my gun-toting silhouette at the bottom since my anniversary gift for my hubby is a gun-cleaning kit.  I hope you enjoy!

And perfect timing to enter one of the few masculine cards I make into Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge - ATG goes with a twist...Male.

Sending Hugs

Flower stamp sets are a papercrafter's staple...they certainly aren't going away anytime soon!  Flower stamps are definitely one of the greatest tools you can have.  I love my old standbys...Heartfelt Creations...and I use them over and over (definitely worth the money outlay).  I am especially thrilled with the way Heartfelt Creations keep coming up with new more creative sets.  Here are a couple cards using one of my faves - Daisy Patch.  I believe the sentiment is from One Happy Little Crafter.

Create For Less - Scrapbook Layout Finalist

I didn't get around to creating a new project for today....learned yesterday that my wedding wall hanging is a finalist in a scrapbook layout contest sponsored by Create for Less. So my evening was spent counting my votes! LOL! As of this posting, I am in first place! So in honor of Create For Less recognizing my work, I am simply reposting my most favorite project to date. Step-by-step instructions for this project are posted here.

While I am currently in first place, I would love for you to help me stay there! Please visit this link - and simply LIKE the photo. Thanks!
