Burlap Beach Collection

I'm back today sharing another simple layout using We Are 3's Burlap Beach digital paper collection.  I love the soft colors.  This collection can be used for most anything!  Jump over to We Are 3 and check out this wonderful collection.

Mistletoe and Kisses

Here is a card using Stand Here digital stamp set from Power Poppy.  My card is inspired by Power Poppy's Hues to Use - these colors are really cool!  I love my deckle border.  When I first started scrapping, tearing edges and deckle edges were all the rage.  I finally found I can make a fun deckle edge using the font Border Bits. - I love my deckle edge!  This would make a great rooftop snow border!

Fill My Holidays with Snow Friends

Hi, Everyone!  I'm here today with colorful cards to brighten your holidays.  I'm showcasing the new Christmas Magic from We Are 3.  It's such a great collection with various blue patterns that you actually can use all year round.  I love the beautiful blues (especially when my printer cooperates!)  I love how cheerful all We Are 3's Snow Friends are.

For the first card, I made my own sentiment.  Sentiments on the other two cards are from We Are 3's Christmas Sentiments Collection.  These are quick and easy one-layer cards.  I used my word-processing program to layer the images and sentiments on top of different paper patterns.  No fuss - no muss.  Great technique if you are in a hurry!  To create a dimensional effect, I used the artistic effects of shadowing available in my word-processing program.  

Finding a little time to myself today, so entering these cards in Challenge #15 at Angie's Digital Stamps and Challenge #64 at Get Creative Challenges - Holidays is the theme for both.

Simple by Design

I used We Are 3's Little Star Collection for this layout - I love the colors of these papers!  I kept this simple, as there doesn't seem to be enough time these days for all the crafting I want to do.  The layout will show my grandson playing with the interactive birthday card I made for his birthday.  Since the photo doesn't show the card well, I added photos of the card I made as embellishments.  The card was also made with We Are 3 papers - Outer Space.  Head over to We Are 3 to see these great collections - both perfect for kids' projects.

                    

Vintage Carnival

I created this very simple layout using fabuluos papers from We Are 3 - Vintage Carnival.  I love the color combo - because of the great patterns, a simple layout looks like much more.  Be sure to visit We Are 3's Etsy shop and purchase this collection - you'll be glad you did!  The New Look?  The photo will be of my grandson who decided to accessorize his clothing with duct tape.

Season's Greetings to You

Hello, Everyone!  Have you checked out the new release from We Are 3 yet?  Today I'm using Christmas Magic.  I'm so excited about the cool blue subtle patterns in this collection.  So here's my first card designed using Christmas Magic.

Along with Christmas Magic, I used a Holly Flourish from Miss Kate Cuttables.  I embellished with Teardrop Border (My Scrap Chick) and a Doily (SVG Cuts).  I created the sentiment on Word.  Last, but not least, I added some tiny teal pearls.

Holiday Tags

Hello, Everyone!  I'm here today to share a card using several of We Are 3's new releases - Holiday Tags, Christmas Magic, and In Stitches.  I've been keeping my cards simple lately (no mojo) - but took a Susan (Bossierre) class and was inspired to replicate the design using Christmas Magic.  

First I designed the inside, layering different papers from the Christmas Magic Collection.  I also added sentiments at the top and bottom.  I framed the entire design with In Stitches.

I resized the tags to fit four across, leaving one tag blank for our signature.  I added some frill by bordering the pop-out sections.  The pop-out section is folded in four and adhered just behind the first and last sections.  I used the same collection to layer the front of the card (outlined with In Stitches), topped off with another tag and some holiday embellishments.

  

Lemonade Cat

Hello, Everyone!  I'm here today with a fun card featuring Dr. Digi's Lemonade Cat.  The current challenge at Paper Ala Mode at The Outlawz is "Close it Up."  Probably the most confusing challenge I've had to design for.  So finally I decide to use the magnifying glass to put the focus on a close-up of Lemonade Cat - I do believe, however, that cat has something stronger than lemonade in his glass!

Glitter and Wood

Hello, Everyone!  I'm back today with my first Glitter-Vinyl project.  I love looking at all the vinyl projects online - so many possibilities - only limited by my imagination.  That's where I run into problems.  LOL!

Today I created a sign for my neighbor, a Harry Potter fan.  I opted for glitter vinyl rather than painting - perhaps a mistake.  However, I did get my toes wet in HTV, for a first project I'm pleased.

Hello!  I'm back today with a tag for the Sizzix eClips Users Group Challenge and SALSA Swap.  I think it will be a sweet Christmas tag for a special package.  I used scraps for the papers - so my colors aren't traditional. #sizzixeclips

Happy Birthday Gray Catsby

Hello, Everyone!  I here to share scrapbook pages featuring Art Deco Digital papers.  These papers were really so much fun - perfect for this Roaring 20's scrapbook.  But I see some gorgeous Christmas cards made with the scraps.  These papers were perfect for this album of A Murder Mystery dinner party I attended - their decorations were all black and gold, so carrying out this theme with these papers.

Pumpkin Ghost

This month's Tag theme for SALSA, a local scrapbooker's group, is Frost on the Pumpkin.  I thought the file Pumpkin Ghost from Kadoodle Bug would be so cute for this.  I added some clear glitter on top of the pumpkins for frost.  I found the funky eyes in a bargain bin.  For the background, I used Happy Christmas digital papers from We Are 3.

Vintage Santa - SALSA Mystery Item

Hi!  I'm here today with a card for our local SALSA Mystery Item Swap.  It was so much fun - amazing Pinterest-inspired fun for Christmas.

For the background, I used Gold Sequins digital paper from the Happy Christmas Collection from We Are 3.

Hello, Everyone!  I'm here today with a simple sweet autumn card starring Mermaid Love digital papers and Autumn Sentiments - all from We Are 3.  I added modified Autumn Leaves from My Grafico - I think they all contribute to a perfect autumn ambience.
