Susan's Scrap Club Happy Thanksgiving

Here is a card inspired by the card Susan shared with us during Susan's Scrap Club class.  The card was totally fab and super easy.

And inside?

Another Progressive Freebie

I so enjoyed coloring the Moving House (Hettie Clair Art) for the Progressive Freebie Challenge at The Outlawz. The papers are We Are 3's Frozen.
The sentiment is from my stash.  I added a bow as an embellishment.  Remember, you have until the end of the month to enter this challenge.  Click here to enter.

Howdy Autumn Digital Papers

Here's an Autumn card I made for the Creative Confetti Challenge at Power Poppy...Feeling Fall It was inspired by a card from The Paper Craft Tutor. The paper is the new collection Howdy Autumn from We Are 3...the wreath is from Power Poppy - Bittersweet Wreath.

She's kind of a big deal

There are some of the coolest ideas for decorating gift bags on Pinterest, and I couldn't wait to try this adorable princess bag - well, on Pinterest, the inspiration were princess bags for girls' birthday parties. But I didn't have any princess images - only this fashion clipart. Tell me this isn't the cutest idea!
Okay, maybe it's truly hokey, but I couldn't resist.

Snow Friends

My card today at We Are 3 is all about the new collection Moon Desert - or is it? Living in Arizona, I was excited about a desert-themed collection. Yet when I looked at this paper, I couldn't get visions of Michigan cold, dreary winter days out of my head. LOL! So I built some snowmen and added a holiday sentiment. All in all, I'm pleased with the final results, even though my snowmen don't look all that happy. LOL!
Now hurry on over to We Are 3's Facebook Page to see great inspiration from the other Design Team members.

Frame-It from We Are 3

Oh, Wow! Bonnie has a fabulous new collection called Frame-It - new in the Etsy store. The PNG files allow you to "frame" photos or other designs to make your papers unique each time you use them. Doesn't that sound liek FUN! For this project, I layered the pink frames from the collection over the magenta polka dots. I made a Note Card Clutch (tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers). Inside my clutch, I am including four matching note cards featuring Spring Cuties. Makes for a great hostess gift!

Beary Baby Angel inspired by Featured Stamper

When I saw this card in this week's Featured Stamper gallery, I thought, "Nice and easy." But then finding a scene I liked, I had second thoughts. Instead of a fun scene, I used Beary Baby Angel from Di Gigi.

Featured Stamper - Holiday Tree

As you know, I love following the Featured Stamper at Splitcoast Stampers.  This week's Featured Stamper has a fun gallery.  I love this little Christmas tree - makes for a quick and simple Christmas card that I will probably resort to in a crunch.

OMG!!!

This weekend I have been obsessed with Power Poppy's Power & Spark Challenge.  First, the opportunity to copy a talented Bloomie guilt free!  But Bloomie talent is like potato chips for me - I couldn't copy just one!  So set a goal to CASE something from each talented designer.  I have to admit, the icing on the cake is a generous $50 Power Poppy shopping spree - Power Poppy has the best floral digital images!

So for my third entry, I ventured on to CASE Kathy Jones.  The post that caught my eye was her Little Candle Gift from way back in 2015.  So I may be behind the times - I've seen others stamping on candles - but this could not possibly be a quick project.  Kathy actually gave some extraordinary instructions - no, it could not be that easy!  I'm going to let you visit her blog for her extensive detailed instructions - what Kathy failed to say is that the toughest step in stamping on a candle is finding white tissue paper!  So after driving ten miles, visits to three stores, hours later I return home - and literally five minutes later had this gorgeous candle gift using Power Poppy's Black-Eyed Susan (full disclosure - image was already colored - LOL!)

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

This is the current sketch (#115, I think) at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Here's what I chose to do with the sketch.  The card base is We Are 3 Strawberry Jam.  The yellow strip is We Are 3 Watercolor Batik  I turned the sketch sideways.  The Image is Connie Fong's Snowy Delivering Presents with Tassel.  I colored it using Photoshop.  The snowflake is a Sizzix die. The solid papers and sentiment are from my stash.

Viva la Verve Sketch Challenge

In today's post, Viva la Verve shares their weekly sketch challenge.  This sketch is easy - whip up an entry in about ten minutes!  I'm proud once again to get rid of some scraps....even the bow was already made - a leftover from another project.

Think Tea Garden

Are you ready for spring?  You will be when you see these cards that are sure to conjure up wonderful memories of a relaxing day with a cup of tea in the garden.  I used scraps from DCWV's Garden Tea Party paper pack to make a hostess gift pack.  It was relaxing just playing with paper scraps to make these.

Embellishing with Ribbon

I am now in a hurry to get this book completed....as I ran out of paper. Today's visit to the scrapbook store was not especially successful - seems I wiped them out of the paper I purchased. So while the paper I purchased today will get by for the rest of the double layouts - I had one half of a layout finished that needed a partner. I had a piece of the dotted background paper left - with a couple monkeys cut out of the center. So I covered those holes with a scalloped-circle mat (don't look too closely - one hold had to be patched up LOL!) Since I didn't have much else to coordinate with this page....I used plain paper for mats - and relied on some dollar-store ribbon to embellish - I think a striking look.

Another Page for Damien

Good morning, All!

For today's post, I'm continuing the scrapbook for my grandson-to-be, Damien.  Because his room will be green, I'm using a selection of green solids and prints - a variety of companies represented here including Bo Bunny, Pink Paislee, Studio Calico, and others!  I wasn't sure when I selected all these papers - couldn't find a coordinated paper pack that I liked....but I think papers I selected are so yummy! I debated making embellishments in natural colors (grey elephant) or stick with greens - I think it's a bit more coordinated using the same papers for embellishments. And I love the greens - so my animals are green! :)

The hearts I used on this page are from Miss Kate Cuttables.

Be sure to check back to see what Page 4 looks like!
