I love taking a Featured Stamper card (Splitcoast) and see how I can CASE it with tools I have other than what they used. So today I chose a card using a butterfly die that I do not own. I picked a butterfly SVG (Butterfly Pocket - SVG Cuts) and used some functions on my Eclips to replicate the same design. Kind of a challenge - especially since I changed the size and shape of the card - but aren't my butterflies cute? I had a sheet of the pretty Mosaic Background (We Are 3) in my stash and used that for my butterfly design.

Power Poppy Blossom Challenge
It's Day 4 of the new Power Poppy Blossom Challenge - although I'm not using "Spring" flowers, I was already creating this card using Power Poppy's Black-Eyed Susan - so I'm feeling pretty good sharing this in the challenge. There is so much inspiration from the fabulous Bloomies - it's mind boggling. There's almost a month to go to get your entry in. Wow! Today I'm sharing a card using papers from the new Graduation collection from We Are 3. They have lovely bright colors.
I used the papers with the stars and "confetti" which are appropriate for all occasions. The sentiments are computer generated. While this card was created for someone who is very ill, I hope the beautiful bright colors will bring some joy for her and her family.

Power Poppy Creative Confetti
This card is for the Creative Confetti Challenge at Power Poppy using Black-Eyed Susan and a sentiment from Irresistible Peonies - all from Power Poppy. For some reason, I love to color my Black-Eyed Susans blue - I think they are just the cutest. They're colored digitally. The background paper is from Tea Time by We Are 3. I also made a strip of paper with Black-Eyed Susans to show through the vellum. This week's theme is "Make It Your Way" - with elements provided based on birth month and initials. As usual, I skimmed instructions and found after the card was made that I was to use both initials - I only used C for pink - and my birth month August called for vellum.

Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper
This week's Featured Stamper had a Welcome Home card that inspired my CASE. I colored We Are 3's Home using some inspiration for technique from the Featured Stamper. I decided to add a tree, as the Featured Stamper had one. The gingham paper is from the Plaid Stripes Neutral Collection.
Now go be inspired the Featured Stamper.

Happy Farm Life from Kadoodle Bug
My card today is a Get Well card using Happy Farm Life from Kadoodle Bug.
Inside, I added our cousin "back in the tractor" for a littler personalization. I don't know why - but I really got a kick out of having his arm hang out the window. Tee, hee.

My Casual Whimsy Bed Box Card
Tomorrow my hubby will be having surgery on his back - hopefully getting him back on his feet. He's been down for six weeks now - pretty much always in severe pain. As many know, he had surgery in February and is facing additional surgery in another couple months. We have spent the past year playing roulette with doctors' appointments. Not to mention four other surgeries he's had since we've moved here...and countless visits to the ER. He "expects" a handmade card when he gets out of surgery - I'm kind of at a loss for ideas by now! One of my crafting groups reposted my birthday card for him from last year - and I had my AHA moment. I remade the card with him in a drab tan "hospital" bed - attached to an IV. Since in all these surgeries, they have removed and/or replaced some body part, I settled on the sentiment "You want a Piece of Me?!?!? Get in Line!!!"
I used Marriages (Bugaboo) for my hubby, and Can't Cure Stupidity (Bugaboo) for the nurse. The IV is just a piece of clipart I colored. The bed box card file is Get Well Bear Card in a Box (My Casual Whimsy). Hmmmm....I see in my files I have a nurse from Bugaboo - I might just have to add her! This is a very easy file to assemble. The sentiment was computer generated.
Here you can see the dimension of the entire card. Isn't it cute?

Smile! A Floral Gift Bag
I sure am having fun decorating these gift bags. Today I used some decoupage flowers that were gifted to me years ago...and I just couldn't help but add a little butterfly.

Shore Do Miss You - the Featured Stamper Challenge
This week's Featured Stamper is Love Ribbons - I chose this card to case. Ooooo, Fun! It just so happened that I have an old freebie from Kadoodle Bug that would be perfect for a case - Seashell Cricket. I also used We Are 3 Christmas Magic paper for the "water" and sequins for bubbles.

Mystery Item Folder
Today I'm excuted to share with you my card for a SALSA Mystery Item Swap. The Mystery Item was the folder. I added the label "To-Do List." My plan was to have papers inside the folder that could be pulled out and read with messages about keeping in touch - however, I couldn't keep the papers inside - so instead I used them as a small embellishment. Background paper is We Are 3 Ladybug Lace...I added a watercolor texture from Design Bundles.

Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge #607
Welcome back to my mission to use up scraps I have been pushing aside for years. I think I've had this embossed patterned paper for more than ten years - just too pretty to throw away, but yet didn't always fit my projects. The flowers - I bought a tin of flowers years ago - those tins just NEVER seem to empty. I had some spray mist I won - never used. The sentiment left over from a class I taught probably five years ago. The design was inspired by this week's Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge #607.

Color Burst - Thinking of You

Sizzix eClips Users July Challenge
I'm celebrating summer with a beachy treat box.
I've been thinking of a small project to make for a cousin for a Craft-it-Forward thingy for a month now - I was thinking some kind of treat box. Yet I couldn't get motivated by any of my ideas. Then I finally remembered she is all about the beach - so I used Miss Kate Cuttables Flip Flop Set, added sides to the flip flop, and created a small treat box I will fill with M & Ms.
