Kim Cameron - Let's Go Cowboy
I'm really excited about this gift bag because I found a use for some free papers that have been in my stash for quite some time....not to mention the cute digitals, also resting in my stash. LOL! Not creative or elaborate - but cute nonetheless.

Michigan Girl - Arizona World
Good Morning, All! It's the week before Christmas, and you know what that means. Woohoo! Another gift completed! Perfect for my dental hygienist who is also from Michigan, don't you think? Unfortunately, I overheated Michigan inside Arizona! And THAT'S why I don't sell my work. LOL!

Haunting Halloween in the Desert
I've always loved making Halloween cards - seems you can slap some orange and some black and a ghost or two on it - and everyone loves it. I wanted to make some desert-themed Halloween cards - and I'm having a harder time with that. But here's one - inspired by the challenge at Moving Along with the Times #13 - Things with Wings. Let's take a look . . .It's simple - but it's a star.

A Great Start to the Day - Cowboys
Good Morning, Everyone!
Our cool days are coming to a close. Beautiful 70s are coming back today . . . after two evenings of near freezing, I feared I would never see 70s again.
I'm continuing on my western order - so today's focus is a silhouette cowboy from an svg set called Western Ranch.

Two-Step into Creativity
I have another fun western card to share today. Terri Gibson, in an old The Stampers Sampler (June/July 2000), shares the most incredible western card. If you do a Google search for "denim pocket cards," you'll find brilliant pocket papercrafting ideas. I am so inspired by all these cards!
These are also perfect card for today's challenge at Cards in Envy - the theme being "Put Some Extra Layers On." Layer up your card and join the fun!

Scrap It with a Song - Relax, Take it Easy!
I have some relaxing cards for you today for the challenge at Scrap It with a Song. The song is "Relax, Take It Easy" by Mika.
While after re-retiring in November, Relax is my Mode of Operation - I do have many papercrafting responsibilities. I'm currently working on some Southwest-themed card gift cards. So I thought this song fit my project fabulously: there is no better place to relax than the Southwest and these cards are clean and simple - all made with scraps.

Cactus
I keep a list of different cards I need - yet never seem to find time to fit all my projects into my schedule. Really, there are days when I’m marvelously productive - other times? I question how I wasted away my day. I was once fabulously gifted at multi-tasking. somewhere I lost that skill - LOL! Things change, I guess.
But today I did get back to my list and made some simple Southwest birthday cards using Cactus Tree from Little Miss Muffet and some Birthday Tags from Fontaholic.

Flaming Chili Peppers! at The Robin's Nest
Hi Everyone,
As you drive along roads in Arizona, within nearly every mile, you can pull to the side of the road and buy a beautiful string of hot red chili peppers. Chili Flame Cardstocks are a perfect way to celebrate this Southwest tradition. This month, The Robin's Nest is bringing you amazing projects that showcase the Hot Flame Line. Take a break from your busy schedule and enjoy all the creativity.
Today's project uses Chili Flame Cardstock, Chili Flame Border, and Rumple Ribbon from Lovebug Creations.

Supplies Used
The finished card is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2". The card front is Ochre Classic Glitter Cardstock, matted with the solid side of Chili Flame Border.
- Chili Flame - Thermal Icing Cardstock
- Chili Flame Border
- Ochre Classic Glitter Cardstock
- Labels Four Dies (Spellbinders)
- Rumple Ribbon - Sunflower (Lovebug Creations)
- Winter Retreat Dew Drops
- Glitter - Cayenne, Poppy Orange, and Regal Red (Glitter Ritz)

A 3-1/4" square was cut from Chili Flame Cardstock - matted with Ochre Classic Glitter and the solid side of Chili Flame Border. This was popped up in the center of the card.
I cut several small "chili pepper" shapes and covered them with different shades of glitter. These are arranged on a Spellbinders die cut out of Ochre Classic Glitter. The chili peppers were embellished with Sunflower Rumple Ribbon. The ribbon is tied in a bow, with the ends sliced to resemble straw.
A few Winter Retreat Dew Drops finish off the card. How ironic that "Winter Retreat" Dew Drops would make this card so hot!

Festive Friday Blog Hop
Feliz Festive Friday, y'all! I thought I'd share with you a simple Christmas card - another with a cowboy theme. For the most part, as you can see, green slips of paper were ripped and placed around the card edge to form a "holly" frame...but look carefully, as some of those green pieces are holly leaves stamped with Heartfelt Creations Petite Poinsettia stamp set - embellished with red Stickles for berries. All a great frame for horse and cowboy.

Valentine Cowboy
Hi all! Hope your weekend has been fabulous. Mine certainly has been. Hung out with my hubby yesterday, and now I’m just chillin’ at home working on some various projects while my hubby is off to a motorcycle swap meet..
Anyhow, you know everywhere you turn - blog hops, Facebook, everywhere! - the themes are Halloween and Christmas. Finished up some Christmas tags myself for the Scraps to Treasures blog hop next week - be sure to stop back on the 20th! But for my Cowboy - Western - Southwest cards, I'm moving on in another direction.....today it's Valentine's Day! Thought I would share my first Valentine Card this year. :) Enjoy!

Festive Friday - Southwest Christmas
For this week’s Festive Friday card, I thought I would make a Southwest-themed Christmas to include in my "ongoing" cowboy - western - Southwest request.. And the stamps to use for the job are two of my favorites - Animal Spirits Cactus and Petite Poinsettia Stamp Set from Heartfelt Creations.
These cards are actually super simple with mainly layered poinsettia leaves and a cactus.. Super easy and you can actually mass produce - yet vary the card - by different paper and placing the pieces in different locations. Embellishments are embossed in copper or gold for that extra Southwest festive flair.
Enjoy!
SUPPLIES
Solid Card Stock: Red, Green, White
Patterned Paper: Christmas "scraps", Aumnt scraps (give a Southwest touch)

Golden Gecko
It was an exciting day of blog hopping and The Robin's Nest held a very cool video session...thanks for all the inspiration, Everyone! In between, I worked on Animal Spirits cards...here's just a sample of what I did today. But I was pretty much mass producing, so simple and sweet were they!
This little guy is embossed in gold.
