I'm so excited to finally create a layout that uses the golf embellishments I've been hoarding. I used papers from Great Graphics. The layout is inspired by a Virtual Crop Sketch Challenge at SG Scrap Squad. When I decided to use the triangles for the layered design, I didn't realize they would actually look like the greens flags. Had I thought of that, I would have added the 18 flag numbers to the flags.

Happy Farm Life from Kadoodle Bug
My card today is a Get Well card using Happy Farm Life from Kadoodle Bug.
Inside, I added our cousin "back in the tractor" for a littler personalization. I don't know why - but I really got a kick out of having his arm hang out the window. Tee, hee.

Think Rain in the Desert
What to get a seven-year-old for his birthday? My neighbor visited me a couple weeks ago, and I asked what he wanted for his birthday. He said he really wanted an umbrella - black with blue. He said his mom doesn't think he needs an umbrella (we live in the desert). So I got him a black umbrella and added some blue raindrops - and a sun, 'cuz a lot of people here use umbrellas more for sun than rain. I swear - you would have thought I bought him a pony!!!!!! He was soooo excited....then his 4-year-old sister - who is never jealous when her big brother has a birthday - comes to me in tears because she doesn't have an umbrella. So she has her order in for a pink umbrella with rainbows. Think I might have to invest in a lot of umbrellas for the little munchkins I know. Didn't realize they are a hot item. LOL! Didn't get a great photo of the umbrella, unfortunately. But Lucas' enthusiasm makes an old lady happy.

Masculine Birthday Gift Bag Swap at SALSA
Woo, hoo! I'm so excited for this month's gift bag swap at SALSA - using the Masculine Birthday theme. I was so inspired by the adorable birthday card I made for my neighbor that I had to make another mug for the gift bag swap. I used one of my fave We Are 3 digital papers for a little color (HoneyComb) and Father's Day Cheers Card from Dreaming Tree for the beer mug.

Happy Birthday!
I just bought the Father's Day Cheers Card from Dreaming Tree. I cut this out using my Eclips (#eclipsecalmaker) using digital paper from the free April Showers Scrapbooking Kit (Free Digital Scrapbooking), and used color correction in Word to create the two-tone colors. The sentiment is computer generated (Print2Cut). I wish Sizzix would include folder names on their embossing folders so I could share those as well. We all know what a pain in the ass masculine cards can be - so be sure to check this out at Dreaming Tree.
There's just enough dimension to keep this card interesting. I popped the beer foam and the sentiment. I made a mistake in layering, so had to inset the white pieces into the handle. I think it's pretty darn cute! So cute, I don't think I can even put it in an envelope! LOL! Will stick it on the gift of beer for all at the party to see.

Today I'm sharing the last card I need to make for the women of Neebish Island, Michigan, for a while - using up scraps.

Cowgirls are Here

I'm also working on cards with a similar theme - as you know, when I print/cut an image, I do several at a time.

A Shakey Tuesday with the Fuse Tool
It's a Tuesday full of glitter here on the Short on Ideas blog! I used the Confetti shape die and the Fuse tool to make these stunning cards! They are hard to put down once filled with glitter-covered confetti.
The fun cactus is from WP Clipart.

Sweet Santa
Hello, Scrappers!
Today I needed some inspiration for a Make-n-Take as we gear up for Christmas in July at AZ Scrapbooking! My google search landed me at Rae Carr's page on Crafts U Print - she's one of my favorite designers with amazing ideas for special handmade projects.

Mojo Monday - Sketch 402
So retirement is finally working - I'm ahead on my blogging! It helps that many sketch challenges have inspired me - to the point where I can't wait to share my projects. Today I finally found Mojo Monday's sketch for this week - another quick card.
I chose hearts instead of circles and used Assorted Hearts from Miss Kate Cuttables. The greeting was computer generated.

And Now for Yet Another Bear . . .
I want to share another bear card with you. Time crunch has set in and they are getting pretty simple.
I did pull out some dies from Spellbinders to mat my bear - the Twist on Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge (use a die or punch).

Bear Die-Cut Card
Happy Tuesday, All!
For today’s cards I'm working on Black-Bear cards for the Fort Wilkins' Gift Shop. These cards go pretty quickly, but look cool when finished, I think. :D I used Paper Studio's Hoot, Hoot paper pad for the patterned paper - can't remember where the bear came from.

Happy Birthday
I just finished my grandson's birthday party invitations and have them ready for tomorrow's male. Of course, I forgot to take a picture of the finished product - but here is a picture of my first draft. Couple changes - no white border around Super Why and Princess Presto, and Adrian's name and 1st birthday are highlighted. Oh, then there is the fact that I had a friend help me put them together so I could get them out - I've always said I don't crop because I can't gab and create at the same time....and I learned tonight, neither can Vickie! So some of the parts may just be upside down - or very much off center! LOL! But they are in the mail!

2015 Pet-Adoption Event - April 11
April 11 is Tucson's Pet Adoption event, so what better time to scrap the four-legged friends in your life with birthday wishes.
This is your chance to wish two-legged friends with "ruff" and "purr-fect" birthday wishes. There are a lot of different digital files to suit your personal taste and designs for cards. BTW, if you are in the Tucson area, you will probably be able to find a four-legged friend to suit your personal taste at the Pet-Adoption Event, too.

Easter Fresh
Yay! I love this bunny from Digital Crea so much! Here's a card I made for my grandson for Easter (can you believe I didn't have an Easter card in my stash?) I just think this bunny is awesome! I love the colors - even though they aren't quite traditional Easter. The inspiration for this card came from the paw-print frames I've been using for Pet-Adoption cards - looks like a bunny print to me! Super easy and simple to pull together.
The sentiment is a free digital sentiment from Bross Artful.
