My turn to share the fun July Release from We Are 3 - Fairy Mail. Please check out We Are 3's Facebook page to see more fun cards and projects using the July Release. Fairy Mail is great for vintage-styled flowers! And who would have thought! I used the new release Seaside Accessories - Precolored and used the seaweed image for my leaves here - I like how they add just enough color to my flowers.

Good Morning!
I made this card with digital paper from We Are 3. The image is Jessica Lynn's Brentwood Owl Coffee. I used a little paper piecing for the owl's coffee cup. I gradient colored the sentiment from Smiles - We Are 3. All the papers I used are from Once Upon a Time - We Are 3. Edges are distressed with VersaColor.

Peace on Earth
I made this card as my last entry in Power Poppy's Copy a Bloomie Challenge. (Power Poppy followers will be glad to know that!) This card just may be my go-to card for Christmas this year. White on white on white - with great red and green Christmas colors. The image is Wreath Boxwood and Cranberry. I cased a card from Bloomie Stacy Morgan. Stacy's card is embossed - I faux embossed mine by stacking white cardstock on white cardstock.
OMG!!!
This weekend I have been obsessed with Power Poppy's Power & Spark Challenge. First, the opportunity to copy a talented Bloomie guilt free! But Bloomie talent is like potato chips for me - I couldn't copy just one! So set a goal to CASE something from each talented designer. I have to admit, the icing on the cake is a generous $50 Power Poppy shopping spree - Power Poppy has the best floral digital images!
So for my third entry, I ventured on to CASE Kathy Jones. The post that caught my eye was her Little Candle Gift from way back in 2015. So I may be behind the times - I've seen others stamping on candles - but this could not possibly be a quick project. Kathy actually gave some extraordinary instructions - no, it could not be that easy! I'm going to let you visit her blog for her extensive detailed instructions - what Kathy failed to say is that the toughest step in stamping on a candle is finding white tissue paper! So after driving ten miles, visits to three stores, hours later I return home - and literally five minutes later had this gorgeous candle gift using Power Poppy's Black-Eyed Susan (full disclosure - image was already colored - LOL!)A Fun Card for the Water Worshippers
With lots of family living in Michigan near lakes and rivers, I tend to make a lot of nautical cards. This new digital element from We Are 3 spruces them up a bit - rather than the usual anchor, this one is adorned with flowers and rope for an extra touch. You can get these in the We Are 3 shop.
I hope you will share your We Are 3 Nautical projects on the Facebook page. We would love to see what you create.

Christmas

I made this card to CASE a card by Power Poppy Bloomie Cindy Lawrence for Power Poppy's current Power & Spark Challenge - Copy a Bloomie. (Entries are due by July 31 at 8 p.m. EST, so there's still time for you to join the fun.) The challenge is to CASE a card designed by a Power Poppy design team member. For this entry, I chose Cindy Lawrence's No Lines and Birthday Tulips. While I kept in the green cardstock family, I chose Stand Here Mistletoe for my image and inside sentiment. Cindy used the no-lines coloring technique. I prefer to color my images on GIMP, but decided to try that technique in electronic fashion. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. The red bow did not stand out, so I did outline that in black - but next time would probably outline it in red instead. I finished the card off with Stickles on my berries.
Toot, Toot with Toy Train
At the Paper Ala Mode Challenge at the Outlawz, I get to share this simple card created using Toy Train from Angie's Digital Stamps.
Fun and Interesting Fairy Mail
My turn to share a project over at We Are 3, Today I made a simple card with a masculine touch using the July Release Fairy Mail. The sentiment comes from Early Bird Sentiments.
Please check out We Are 3 Facebook Page to see more designs using Fairy Mail.

Cherished Friendship

I made the following card for the "Copy a Bloomie" Challenge at Power Poppy. The challenge is to CAS a card from a Power Poppy design team member.
I chose to copy a card made by Bloomie Tosha Leyendekker - I chose this card from a blog post from last July. I changed the flower bouquet to Pure Prairie Boquet and used a sentiment from the same set. I even pulled our my paper crincher that probably hasn't been used in over ten years (just one reason to hoard!) This challenge is exceptionally fun, as the Bloomies are all so talented and provide me with immense inspiration.
Clean and Simple
Decided to go through my stash and make something clean and simple today. The image is from Bugaboo - Lady Bugs. The papers are Paper Studio. The Challenge #60 at Get Creative is Clean and simple - check it out!
Life is Short
My turn to share a sample over at We Are 3. With my last name being Short, I love "Life is Short . . ." quips. So here's one for the ladies - Life is Short! Buy the Shoes! Also fun for the Challenge #41 at Naughty or Nice - If the Shoe Fits.

Great Gift Package
My turn to share a project over at We Are 3. The July Release is full of Nautical and Seaside papers and elements. Specific products used can be found below. I made a "Card Clutch" and coordinated cards that fit inside - a personalized gift for my sister who loves all things nautical. A tutorial for this "Card Clutch" can be found at Splitcoast Stampers.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2
This is the current sketch (#115, I think) at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.
Here's what I chose to do with the sketch. The card base is We Are 3 Strawberry Jam. The yellow strip is We Are 3 Watercolor Batik I turned the sketch sideways. The Image is Connie Fong's Snowy Delivering Presents with Tassel. I colored it using Photoshop. The snowflake is a Sizzix die. The solid papers and sentiment are from my stash.
