The sentiment was a Print 2 Cut on my cutter. The border is Argyle Border from SVG Cuts. I stayed with the same sentiment as the Featured Stamper as I thought it would be appropriate for almost any occasion. Of course, I added ribbon and fiber, as inspired by the Featured Stamper. Both challenges are so much fun - I hope you come and play along. Both offer great inspiration with all the lovely entries by participants.

The Power Poppy Creative Confetti Challenge and Splitcoast Stampers Features Stamper
This week at Power Poppy Creative Confetti, we were asked to make a tag. I used the Featured Stamper Challenge at Splitcoast for my design. The adorable flower image is Luminous Bouquet, which is available from Power Poppy. I must say when I first started coloring this, I was second guessing my choice - but I've fallen in love with those small purple flowers. I cut the tag and frame in white with faux stitching inspired by the Featured Stamper, and again in shadow effect in purple. I debated whether I should pop up the frame for dimension - then decided to stay truer to the original design.

Vintage Flowers Made with Fairy Mail
My turn to share the fun July Release from We Are 3 - Fairy Mail. Please check out We Are 3's Facebook page to see more fun cards and projects using the July Release. Fairy Mail is great for vintage-styled flowers! And who would have thought! I used the new release Seaside Accessories - Precolored and used the seaweed image for my leaves here - I like how they add just enough color to my flowers.

We Are 3 Special Release
Tea Time is the latest great release from We Are 3. It is absolutely beautiful and can be used for so many occasions. I absolutely adore the Vintage Tea Cups available - I know you are going to love them, too!
For my card today, I used three of the papers in the collection - Flower Petals, Tea Stains, and Cloudy Skies. The tea cups and pearls were colored using Gimp and cut out using my Sizzix eClips. When I color/cut digital files, I usually fill up a sheet with the image in various sizes for quick card making. I took extra pearls from some of the images I had cut and used them to accent the card. I then added transparent sequins.

Vintage Family Memories
I'm so disappointed by the photo - the cardstock I'm using is detailed in glitter - with a type of quilting pattern . . . GORGEOUS! Unfortunately, you can't see that in the photo - so here's a small closeup of some of the cardstock detail (though still pretty tough to see its glittering beauty).

Seeing Green!
I just remembered I forgot to post the past couple days. That's because I've been focused on green - adding lots of green to a 20-page album for my grandson making his appearance in September.
Mom decorated his room in green - and with no real theme, she did already add some woodland critters for accent. I love all the critters Miss Kate Cuttables has - but seldom have a reason to use them....so they were first to come to my mind as I planned this album. Here is the first page that I have been working on for the past three days (those baby owls are a little time consuming with their small size).

49 Days Until Mother's Day!
Hi Everyone,
Mother's Day is the most wonderful time to give a hand-crafted card. It's so much fun to see the reaction on your mother's face when they see a handmade card or gift you created especially for them. Today I am bringing you some more inspiration for Mother's Day.

Mother's Day
Today’s card changed two or three times while I was making it last night. First it was vertical; then it was horizontal; then when I woke up this morning and I hated the card. Arggh!! So, I salvaged the card by changing just a couple things. :)
I used two of my favorite images from Graphic 45's Place in Time Collection. I could seriously use these on everything! I love those little flower fairies.

Also, I'm using a digital sentiment from Free Digital Scrapbooking.
Enjoy!

Amazing Mother
Hello to everyone,
Hopefully those of you out East have weathered the snow. By now I hope the "worst" is over for you, and you will soon be feeling some warmth. Ha, ha, ha...sorry, I just can't quit chuckling as I enjoy a beautiful winter with highs in the 70s.
So I am currently on a countdown to true retirement - 309 days to go. I am truly enjoying my job - but I don't have enough time to do all I want to do with my card making. Of course, when I retire, the question may be how that will impact my crafting budget.
At any rate, that is why many of my cards right now are basic. Have a card to share with you that is perfect for Mother's Day, Mom's Birthday, and just because you're thinking of Mom. Here it is.
Until tomorrow - have a fantastic day and happy crafting.
